| Note | Beautiful elongate specimen with clear and undulating symmetrical longitudinal pin-stripping. The volute shows a moderate natural gloss, flawless natural lip, apex and spire. A large and desirable example of this popular collectors volute. The shell was taken while moving over the sand at extreme during low tide off Port Hedland, Western Australia. The ellioti reveals a small subnacre glazed concavity on the ventral face of the body whorl. Grade: F+++/GEM. |
