Note | Heavy, glossy and extra large eastern Pacific Ocean specimen. Commendable example of the species and about as big as they get. The specimen shows a thick, solid lip and intact spire. The black/brown longitudinal markings are unique to this particular specimen, embroidered on the grandma koala grey/soft golden yellow primary color. The unique aperture displays pale white tones that enhance the appearance of the thick and solid lip. The olive shell is a giant beauty, with perfect form and of superb quality. Collected while crawling in sand at a minus low tide, Puerto Lobos, Sonora, western Mexico. Grade: GEM minus. |
