| Note | Moderately sized specimen for the species, with strong dorsal caramel/brown balanced dark blotching on an eggshell white primary dorsum color with darker tan fringed terminals. The base is clean white with a diffuse brown blotch on the columellar side. Both lateral walls show marked spotting and the shell demonstrates a glossy and thick nacre. Harvested by trawler off Eden, New South Wales, Australia at 120-150 meters in the 80's. Grade: GEM. |
