| Note | One of the smaller family members of this uncommon Hawaiian endemic. The specimen is heavily calloused, excellent nacre gloss and shows shades of dark brown with some evidence of pustules. Collected by Scuba diver next to a reef under coral rubble at 9-10 meters off Sand Island, Honolulu, Hawaii in 2001. The specimen does display some glazed-over concavities and a deep fracture line on the posterior ramp, only visible under higher magnification. Grade: F++ . |
