| Note | An uncommon find in Guam, this specimen shows super rostration (especially the anterior extremity) with thick expanded margins on both extremities. This unique cowrie species shows excellent nacre lustre, flawless extremities, dorsum and base. The specimen is aesthetically highlighted by large lacunae and a strong yellowish-light brown primary coat that is not often found within this species. A true collectors piece. Scuba diver taken on oceanside dropoff at Orote Cliff, Guam at 20 meters in 2020. Grade: GEM |
