| Note | Inflated and solid dwarf specimen taken near the well-known Capricorn Channel. The hyper-glazed shell shows light brown blotching on the dorsum, thick margins and a light dispersion of smaller tubercles. The anterior extremity has a classic transverse groove and both flesh-toned extremities are slightly rostrate. Beautiful thick glossy nacre with a china-white base, extremities and perfect teeth with no sand inclusions. An excellent addition for any Umbilia specialist. Trawled off Pith Reef, Innisfail, Queensland, Coral Sea, in the 90's at 150 meters. Grade: GEM. |
