| Note | Classic large hyper-glazed Trona with a notable dorsal hump and solid form. The shell shows a strong weight/size ratio, thick calloused and flanged margins, a black spire blotch, perfect base and extremities. Collected by scuba diver at 2-3 meters on reef wall in crevice off Pointe des Almadies, Dakar, Senegal, West Africa. The Trona displays a series of subtle subnacre blemishes and a water spot on the mid-lateral wall, labral side. Grade: F+++/GEM minus. |
