| Note | Richly nacred, elegant form, brilliantly colored large jeaniana displaying the best features of the species. Lovely large clearly demarcated dorsal blotch, apricot/peach/brown highlighted extremities, classic blue halo and large lateral wall spotting highlight this beautiful Zoila. Super gloss with perfect extremities and base. An outstanding deep water specimen by any criteria. Taken on a day trip off Bernier Island, Western Australia at 74 meters on geodia sponge in 7/2018 by ROV. There is a palpable (finger touch) discernible and shallow growth fold hidden under the dark blotch on the posterior ramp, columellar side including a small hidden sand grain on the same ramp not seen in the images. Grade: F+++/GEM minus. |
