| Note | Large eloquent and ultra-glazed specimen with a marvelous array of dorsal mottling and lateral wall spotting. The elongate symmetrical shape, perfect rostrate extremities, marginal flaring and lavish coloration establish this Zoila as a exceptional friendii. Slightly tuberculated on the posterior margins and strong rostration with envious gondola characteristics in force. Super glossy thick nacre and moderately heavy shell, a true masterpiece. Taken by diver on reef at 26 meters off Flinders Bay, Augusta, Western Australia while nested on a sponge. The zoila presents with few subtle growth folds on both ramps. Grade: F+++/GEM. |
