| Note | A classic example of this enigmatic Caribbean species, with beautiful colors, and in fairly good condition, with only a couple micro chips in the siphonal canal, one small chip in the lower lip, and as usual, the apex is missing.
It was collected alive by a local fisherman on a rocky bottom while diving at 22m deep, 36 miles off the Celestun harbor, back in October the 19th of this year.
It comes without operculum. |
