AWESOME PAIR with periostracum and whitout! Gem conditions for the one with perio, intact apex , perfect clear lines, beautiful spine and perfect lip, just the best. The one without perio has an extended and curved seldom seen kind of wing on lip, awesome lines, spire , apex, lip and only one clear growmark not detrackting the beauty. Grade for this beautys F+++- Gem. Awesome combination of colors and lines. This remote population living only around the stones in the mouth of the canal going to the sea calling La Vena, coming sweet and salty water from the mangrooves. This species particularly are expert to open the oysters and here they are because of the sweet water combined with salty and the ideal place for the oysters. Most of the specimens here are very hard to clean because of the hard attachments on the body, and a few are coming with great conditions, most are broken , with erosion, several scars, etc. Here you can admire a very nice selected specimens in this auction with beautiful coditions for the population. Found attached on big stones with brown algae and oysters about 3-4m deep. La Vena, Los Angeles Locos, Bahia de Tenacatita, Jalisco, Mexico. November 2023. Value: 28-30 euro. MEXICO PACIFIC.
