| Note | This is the biggest specimen of T. giganteus we have seen in a while, it is still in its natural condition, with periostracum and other natural attachments.
It has a scar on the dorsum, and as usual for these big specimens, the apex is missing.
This makes for an amazing display piece, being such a large example of the second biggest gastropod in the world.
Collected alive by a local diver while diving at 15m deep, 12 miles off the Celestun harbor, back in September of this year.
