| Note | Rare and captivating hard to find gorgeous Australian specimen. Moderately heavy shell with exquisite dorsal markings on the elongate body and splendid base with gracefully spotted flared margins. The bataviensis also shows superb spotting on the smooth rugated margins, flawless siphons, base and dorsum. Scuba diver collected at 45 meters off Kalbarri, Western Australia while feeding on a geodia sponge on a sandy and silty low limestone reef. The specimen presents with no visible flaws. Grade: GEM. |
