| Note | Venusta found in shallow water off Starvation Bay and Munglinup are quite different to other south coast venusta and are quite different to roseopunctata.
They are consistently a lot smaller and more like sorrentensis or thatcheri in shape. They also seem to be consistently gingery gold / pink in colour and tend to be quite light in weight.
This specimen was collected from a cave in 18 metres of water in starvation Bay during April 2023. It is has sparse distinct tan spots on a pink dorsum and a creamy gold tinged base. The shell is graded Fine++ due to dorsal growth fold.
