| Note | Absolutely gorgeous robust specimen, remarkably different from the older deeper water Taiwanese trawled specimens commonly available. The shell displays remarkable deepnacre lustre, profound body inflation, thick margins,
moderate rostration and brilliant golden coloring. The soft yellow/white base color a perfect background for the light brown dorsal blotch, light brown/peach lateral wall spots accentuated by amazing flesh/honey orange painted extremities. A signature classic shell from the Zoila family. Collected by ROV at 120 meters resting on coral off Bernier Island, Shark Bay, Western Australia. The shell displays two small self-repaired nicks on the posterior extremity, siphonal channel edge, columellar side. Grade: F+++/GEM minus. |
