| Note | Extra and multiple tiny elegant scales all around almost WOOOW!! Really fresh and nice orange base and inner lip. Rare to find with this exceptional conditions except for the micro holes in the ventral side near the base. This particular species is always found attached to large stones and apparently feeds more at night. Devourer of marine worms! Their shells are generally always accompanied and attached by many types of calcareous organisms and algae making them invisible in many cases. You need to have a very good eye to find them, and they are rare. Very rarely do you find good specimens with impressive conditions. This is the perfect example to appreciate the beauty of a Neorapana muricata with extra multiple scales. Uncommon species nowadays in great quality like this. The grade of this shells witout the micro holes is Gem. F++-F+++. Found attached between stones with mud about 5m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. January 2024. Value: 58-69 euros.
