Note

Selected pair of specimens found on sand trails on an exposed sand bar at Dunsborough in January 2024. The larger specimen is a brute for this species. The animal has survived an attempted predication and has a drill hole on its columnar side that did not penetrate to the shells interior. Fine+++ W/O.
