| Note | Olango Island, Cebu, Philippines. Taken by hookah diving at nighttime at 10-15m. 2022/08. A very special shell!! The upper two spines and the body are albino, while the rest are normal colored. There is a clear division line between the white part and the normal part, and this kind of color division goes through the whole shell, indicating there’s some innate problem of the mantle of the animal which prevented it to produce melanin in the upper part of the shell. The shell is good conditioned and professionally cleaned. A featured collection, for specialists! From my personal collection. |
