GEM. This is an extremely rare Conus gloriamaris. It is one of the few known FREAK specimens with a decollate spire. Good colouration, typical Balicasag colour and of the classic 100 mm size.
Philippines. Balicasag Island. South of Panglao. Bohol Sea. Taken with tangle nets about 100 meters deep. Collected by local fishermen. 2010.
