F+++/GEM. THE SPLENDOUR OF THE OCEANS. Even rarer alive among the rarest, and already legendary.
Only known from the Recodo area in Zamboanga: all shells are so far topotypes: from the same place as the holotype. Dozens of shells collected dead are known today. The present specimen is quite small (but not the smallest) and is in excellent condition. The colours are very fresh, much fresher than the holotype, and the specimen looks like it was caught alive. Prestigious, famous, beautiful. One of the rarest species in the world.
