As this beautiful species changed from "common" to "rare" and now virtually "impossible" to get in the Philippines.
Tangle netting activity stopped in 2010. The boholensis is one of the most beautiful and noble Philippine Strombus.
No longer fished for about a decade, deep water, only to get from nets that are no longer there. Already hard to find at present, only from "ex-collections".
