| Note | F+++. IT DOESN'T HAPPEN OFTEN: THE SPLENDID AND EXCLUSIVE EVELYNAE. Named 12 years ago, and absolutely valid. Impressive, from an unexplored area and named after the wife of the deceased "Manou". It is a topotype of which only about a dozen specimens have been collected, all in the same place as the type material.
The nets that were set at Digos were an "experiment", but only a few beautiful shells came to light, and today this area is deserted. Shortly after the description, a few shells were seen in the hands of two Filipino traders, and no new material has ever been offered since. Less than two dozen in collections worldwide. Caught alive. No new material available.
