Note | Sharply colored and patterned brown/orange veil covering a densely spotted dorsum complemented by a notable dorsal line. The shell shows excellent nacre luster, perfect extremities and a glossy porcelain-like base. Excellent weight/size ratio and elongate form complement the specimen. Diver collected on coral reef during night dive by Scuba diver at 20 meters in 2019 off Berenice Troglodytica, Egypt. The specimen displays a few minor sub-nacre and glossed-over dorsal scratches and other subtle dorsal blemishes. Grade: F+++. |
