Note | Large and perfectly color integrated beauty with excellent form and high gloss over the entire body whorl. A big specimen compared to most, very collectible representative of the species. Great display of gray color tones with an external peripheral orange body whorl color trim at the lip and shoulder. The shell demonstrates a perfect protoconch, spire and intact body whorl without growth folds. The volute was taken by a beachcomber while patrolling on the sand at low tide off Thevenard Island, central Western Australia. The specimen demonstrates minor roughness on the anterior lip and a mini-chip on the notch. Grade: F+++/GEM minus. |
