| Note | A very special shell, this is not only a rare species, but it is also a giant. Specimens of this species over 22mm are quite rare, and even more over 24mm, so this is a rare opportunity to acquire a very special piece.
Condition is fairly good; it has a perfect lip, and a very well-preserved body whorl structure. It has some wear on the apex that is always seen in this species, as only dead shells are ever offered.
This one was collected dead via shallow water dredging by a local lobster fisherman. |
