Note
Broad bulbous shell collected from a white funnel sponge in 172 metres of water west of Coral Bay in June 2017. The shell has tan marks on a malleated dorsum and the classic flared cream base, gold lateral spots and siphon trim.
Aurata collected from the northern portion of their habitat range are noticeably broader and more bulbous than those collected further to the south.
Truly one of the best we have collected and extracted from our personal collection. Bulbous round shell and a super rare absolute gem. GEM+.
