| Note | Delicate, large and marvelous foliaceous varices on this richly colored, hyper-pink. specimen. The color is remarkable. considering the long time since collection. Perfect apex, spire and intact foliaceous processes. The specimen exhibits excellent balanced form and features. Collected by tangle net at 80-110 meters by local fisherman in the early 80's off Punta Engaño, Mactan Island, Cebu, Philippines. Procured from old collection. There is a small chip at the inferior siphonal canal tip (truncate end). Grade: F+++/GEM minus. |
