A FABULOUS, TOWERING ALBINO KURODAI FROM SCOTT REEF. This gem comes from an old Dutch collection where it lay dormant for more than 40 years. It was caught in the early 1980s. Occasionally the species is brown colored and there is even a brown colored specimen known from Scott Reef where most of the material of this species is actually white. This is an excellent, highly piled piece, fine++ with little chip, no damage in the siphonal channel as you can see. No longer fished as such.
Australia. Western Australia. Off Scott Reef. 450 m.
