| Note | Larger-sized, inflated and hard to find sweet specimen from the Andaman Sea. Integrated and well distributed light tope symmetrical spotting on a camel brown dorsal landscape with a clean wide dorsal line highlighting the visual impact of this shell. Larger than average specimen from this area with great coloration and nacre gloss. The shell features thick margins and flawless extremities with a cream colored base. Very desirable and prominent example of the species. Live taken by Scuba diver in 2018 at 25-30 meters under reef ledge off the Rocha Island, Phuket, Thailand. The shell exhibits a sand inclusion on the posterior ramp and two other mico-inclusions. Grade: F+++/GEM minus. |
