| Note | Impressive pyriform specimen with an excellent dorsal blotch and notable rostration. The large shell shows a moderate size/weight ratio. The diauges features marginal blotches and very fine lateral wall spots. The margins are calloused and the extremity tips hued light brown and immaculate. The shell was taken by local fisherman at low tide under dead coral heads off Zanzibar, East Africa in 1991. The shell displays no detectable flaws or defects. Grade: GEM. |
