The Peregrinamor genus comprises bivalve mollusks that are parasites of mantis shrimps. The genus is very rare and contains only two known species. This individual is parasitizing a mantis shrimp, which might be Upogebia major. The original host is retained. However, the host Upogebia major is a freebie and may not be included, depending on the circumstances (primarily whether customs allows it to pass through). |
