| Note | This rare endemic coluzea is found in North West Australia in depths around 350m occasionally by deep sea trawlers. This is a fresh dead taken specimen of distephanotis 74mm long so good long siphon on it , the spire and protoconch are intact and overall presents well. I have not attempted to clean or oil this specimen. It has some dark, deep water sediments attached but these can be cleaned of if desired. I thought it best to leave that to the potential buyer to deal with if they choose to . A rarely offered species of quite a sort after and interesting family |
