Note | The large specimen shows the highly sought after brilliant salmon/pink orange coloration and strong longitudinal undulating brown stripes. The shell not a perfect specimen, but a significantly good representative of the species and in excellent condition for this size group. The shell was collected by a Scuba diver at 6-8 meters on sand/rubble bottom off Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico in 12/2023. The specimen has a a collection of small drill holes mid-spire, modestly rough natural lip and series of growth folds and blemishes on the body whorl. Grade: F++. |
