Large example of this subspecies with a standout banding pattern. Excellent reflected folding of the varices. The specimen demonstrates a flawless spire, aperture lip and siphonal canal. The shell displays a high weight/size ratio. Collected by Scuba diver at 15 meters while feeding on a oyster bed in Posiet Bay, south of Vladivostok, Russia, Sea of Japan approximately 30 km. north of the North Korea border. The specimen shows some erosion of the protoconch and negligible wear of the varix edges. Grade: GEM minus.
