| Note | Characteristic specimen with two distinctive blotches fused together mid-dorsum and accentuated by the pale bluish primary color and faintly blotched extremity tips. The specimen shows a strong glossy nacre, excellent extremities dorsum and base. The pattern on this brevidentata is rare, making it a desirable specimen for cypraea collectors. Captured by free diver at 1-1.5 meters feeding on algae under rocks at Dingo Beach, Queensland, Australia in 9/1985. Grade: GEM minus. |
