| Note | Classic large hyper-glazed trona with a notable black dorsum and solid form. The shell shows a strong weight/size ratio, thick calloused and flanged margins, a perfect base and robust extremities. Collected by scuba diver at 2-3 meters on reef wall in crevice off Pointe des Almadies, Dakar, Senegal, West Africa. The Trona displays a series of subtle subnacre blemishes/delaminations as seen in the images. Grade: F+++/GEM minus. |
