| Note | Moderately large example of this outstanding species. Hyper-pigmented impressive dark pattern characterize this particular shell. Lovely and superb/rich coloration with an intricate pattern and brown banding painted over a medium/bright orange body hued primary background. Superior specimen with dark, distinctive and desirable strong dusaveli patterning and color. The shell demonstrates a moderate/heavy weight ratio, perfect apex and spire with no detectable growth folds. A truly beautiful example of a once rarer species. Collected by tangle net at 100-120 meters in 11/2017 off Balut Island, Mindanao, Philippines in 1/2024. There are subtle blemishes on the main body whorl when viewed under scrutiny. Grade: GEM minus. |
