| Note | Dark patterned and exemplary highly collectable specimen. Perfect mottled patterning on the dorsum, dark maple brown extremities and thick glistening nacre. An esthetic specimen with excellent marginal and lateral wall spotting and elegant elongate morphology. Trawled at 80-10 meters in 1/2007 off Disaster Bay, New South Wales, Australia on mud/sand substrate. The specimen has some small subnacre silt stains around the aperture teeth and a mini sand grain pimple on the anterior ramp. Grade: F+++/GEM minus. |
