Note | Heavy, inflated specimen with impressive nude/brown and flesh colored dorsal blotch. This attractive specimen achieves great morphological balance and displays a distinctive wide white spotted dorsal line on the labral dorsum as seen in the images. The anterior and posterior dorsal extremities showing flesh colored tones with superb symmetry of pattern and coloring. The armeniaca has perfect siphons and channels with soft peach/flesh hues embracing the base. Trawled off Esperance, Great Australian Bight, south Western Australia on sandy/muddy substrate at 140-180 meters in the 90's. There are palpable mini-nicks on the anterior extremity. Grade: F+++/GEM. |
