| Note | Distinctive and classic dark dorsal blotched dorsum characterize this moderately rostrated example of Austrasiatica. The specimen displays moderate inflation, flawless extremities and a thick, glossy nacre. Trawled off Taiwan in the East China Sea at 120 meters in 10/2010. The specimen has a minor growth fold on the posterior ramp and mild spreading folds on the anterior ramp, not visible in images. Grade: F+++/GEM. NOTE: Shipments for current auction will commence August 7. |
