Note | Exceptional color and strong nacre glossi like a polished stone underscore this beautiful specimen with amazing vercoi spotting and blotching. Dark lateral walls with enviable spotting and extremities with moderate tuberculation noted on the porcelain white areas of the margins. The shell has great tones of signature blue primary hues on the dorsum with flawless extremities and light brown white/fringed base. Scuba diver lifted from a on a large "sows ear' sponge nestled on a low profile reef. The specimen was located at 25-35 meters off Michaelmas Island, Albany, West Australia in 2016. Close visual inspection reveals arguably no identifiable or notable defects. Grade: GEM. |
