| Note | OUTSTANDING JUMBO.......Deep persian-red with purple tinges to base and lower margins. Fantastic malleation end to end, a prized feature, as well as signifying ultra-maturity. Callous. Heavy for the specie. None of those ugly striae almost all aurantium are predisposed to, just a couple of discrete faults that manage to evade the naked eye. About as appealing one is to find jumbo size. Reflections unavoidable. Grade: F++/Gem. Provenance: from my own collection. Dived; 20-25m; Off Baganga, Davao Oriental Province, Philippines. |
