NoteHere we have a STUNNING example of the true marginata marginata form. A beautiful UNIFORM mottled pattern across the dorsum is surrounded by an incredibly VIBRANT ORANGE AND BLACK margins! Classic ovate shape and a PINK extended spire to go with the SIMPLY AMAZING COLOURS make for a specimen not to be missed! Great overall condition with minimal growth lines on the dorsum, no chips or cracks but a tiny predatory hole below the spire on the collumellar side of the shell. Found by diver on the floor of a limestone cavern at 22m. North of Rottnest Island, W.A. July 2024. PLEASE NOTE that this shell was found dead with the animal remains still inside. *White marks are from camera reflection. Please ask about additional images*
