NoteHere is a wonderful example of the DEEPWATER population of venusta from the Rottnest Island population. A superb INFLATED SHAPE on this shell accompanies the fantastic BLOTCHED black pattern spread evenly across the shell with patches of pink/grey undercoat peaking through. A strongly SPOTTED GREY MARGIN engulfs the dorsum to along with its PERFECT CONDITION makes for an outstanding shell. GEM condition with 0 faults/flaws that i can see. Taken by diver from the side of a sponge covered limestone wall in high profile reef at 27m. 3 Nautical Miles North of Rottnest Island, W.A. July 2024 *White marks are from camera reflection.
