| Note | A big and pretty specimen, we get few over 130mm. The pattern is nice, and the teeth in the aperture are super well-defined and dark, giving the ventrum a lovely look. The shell is in overall good shape, except for a chip it has in the siphonal canal, which can be seen in the pictures.
Collected recently by divers at around 20m deep, many miles offshore. |
