| Note | EXTREMELY THICK THICK LIP AND DWARF FORM!! Awesome species always hiding in the stones almost impossible to find, with a periostracum with a lot of hair that assimilates the algae between the stones, this species in Mexico is not common and usually comes with bad conditions, from complete erosion of the body and scars caused by fish bites. This jewel is in incredible condition, a lip with very elevated bulging teeth or denticles and extra darker than normal. The columella is just impressive and dark! Seldom seen species in my area. Special dark color. Dark brown pattern and really nice clear sculpture. Really extra thick lip, original operculum, apex absent as usual , special perfect yellowish band, Unique Multicolors-pattern-texture and the most impressive is the extended thick lip. Impressive aperture designs, fresh dark colors. For advancer collectors!! F+++. Found attached between stones about 6m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. January 2024.
