| Note | An all around very nice specimen, with a beautiful vibrant orange ventrum color, a very clean and beautiful dorsum, great condition for the lip and parietal shield, with nothing but a handful of very tiny chips that are barely noticeable, and a decent siphonal canal, with just a few small chips. The upper lip has a natural repair done by the animal, but it is perfectly aligned with the rest of the lip and doesn’t take away from the beauty of this amazing piece.
Collected alive this year by local fishermen via scuba diving at around 20m deep, many miles offshore. |
