| Note | F++. A NATIVE DWARF FORM OF A NATIVE CYMBIUM. This is the first time I have offered an adult Tritonis of only 123 mm in length. Most mussels are much larger, twice this size. It may be a local subspecies of a very shallow water form, as this specimen was taken at a depth of only 1 m, according to the collector. It is definitely an adult specimen. A must for all volute collectors as this dwarf form is a great rarity in a not so common species. This bowl is fantastic, but has a very smoothed lip - like almost all Tritonis in collections.
