| Note | Superbly tented, solid and remarkably glossy specimen with a balanced elongate robust body and perfect natural lip. Pattern markings exhibit a strong blend and distribution of lovely desirable "pink tents" with a mixed dark brown primary banding, like a fine geometric painting from a modern art museum. The primary body whorl hue beams of exquisite pink/flesh tones. Captured while cruising in the sand at 10-15 meters by Scuba diver off Playa la Manga, Sea of Cortez, Sonora, Mexico circa 1982. The specimen presents with subtle and normal glazed subnacre growth folds and interruptions on the main body whorl. Grade: F+++/GEM. |
