Moderately sized and deep water "regal" cone not typically seen in excellent condition. For the cone collector, an absolute necessary addition. This specimen displays an exceptional tabulated spire and flawless body whorl. Trawled at 100-120 meters on sand/rubble substrate off Mikawa Prefecture, Japan circa 2006. There is present a worn protoconch and a small chip on the anterior natural lip. Grade: F+++.
